| Budgielover, This is such a wonderous story!! I've enjoyed every tiny bit. All of the characters are supurbly done and you have an excellent flow of calm,light moments and tight, fast, anxious ones. I about died laughing over Pippin's bread scupture and then Merry's profound embarrassment over the use to which it was put. I love how Frodo moves so easily from being silly with his young cousins, and Sam, to being the mature adult hobbit laying down the law. Elrond felling exhausted by all the hobbit energy, everyone finding themselves drawn to and loving the little ones, the growing up the hobbits are already doing - all marvelous!! Simply a joy! | Strange footsteps approaching Pippin. Not good. Not good at all. I suppose it's too much to hope that the approaching sound is the elven horses. Speaking of the horses, I loved that whole scene with the herd. Very nice. Good chapter. I'm anxious to find out who Pippin hears coming. LKK PS: Thank you for telling me about Merry and the Sons of Elrond. Somehow between switching from Fanfiction.net to SOA, I managed to miss a chapter or two. I'm going to go back and start reading the story from the beginning here to make sure I catch up. Thanks for not chastising me for my faux pas! | |

| Poor, Pippin! He doesn't need to cry because I cried enough for him! I'm glad that Aragorn was able to get some kind of reaction out of Merry. Frodo and Sam's concerns could be valid should Merry dispare too much. It was wonderful to see another chapter! And so quickly, wow! looking forward to more, tahnk you! | |

| I only hope that Pippin is just about to meet the rest of his 'walking' party and not more evil men/beasts/whatever. Though I fear for Merry's state of mind should he discover the extend of Pippin's injuries. | |
