Drabbles  by Acacea 2 Review(s)

Some shadows still fall deeply, even in the joy of peace and prosperity. Though I'm sure that Faramir will not shrink from revealing the place of Denethor's fall and his own near-death, the nadir of their house, in the future, when Elboron is old enough to understand it.

I love the imagery of Faramir as a good father, taking the child Elboron all around the White City - the people were always fond of Faramir, and must have been so pleased to see him happy with his little boy.

Author Reply: Yes, I do think he'll tell elboron about it. Faramir's not the sort of man who would seek to cover things up no matter how unpleasant. And he'd rtaher it comes from him than from elboron, but as you say only when elboron is old enough. By which time, Faramir would have had time too to at least try and deal with it.

I'm very glad that Faramir as a father works well. I quite love Elboron, and I think in him Faramir would have had a lot of happiness!

Well, I can certainly understand why Faramir would not wish to touch the joy in his son's heart with that grief.

Author Reply: *nods* Yes, he wouldn't would he? Especially when Elboron is still a child. He'd wait till he was older and able to truly understand.

Thanks for reviewing. again, I am glad to hear this works:)
