| With a joyous dart, he made for King Éomer's tent. He had to tell Merry. I can see him darting over the Field of Cormallen. Really a joyous moment for Pippin. And I think that Merry, when he hears the good news, will be the happiest hobbit in the world, for not only his younger cousin was given back to him, but also his older cousin. And he'll be glad that Pippin behaves like Pippin again, regardless of what the Gondorian soldiers or King Eomer might think :) Author Reply: You speak true here, my dear. Very true. | |

| This would be such a moment of supreme joy for both Merry and Pippin, I think. So glad to see it from Pippin's point of view, and that he's willing to interrupt Eomer so Merry could know. Author Reply: No business can be more important than a loved cousin waking up from near-death. :) | |
